Raydi 120 families of galophytes from around the world, 550 categories and three of nearly 2000 species. The following of them: Chenopodiaceae, Asteraceae, Fabaceae, Poaceae, liliaceae species are important in the production.
More than 700 species of galophytes in Central Asia are tripled. Of these, 206 species, or if not 30%, is an endemic species for this region. The yield of galophytes is on average 1.0-1.9 ts / ha. The main feed for livestock in the steppe region is hay. At the same time, it serves as an oil, medicine, landscape and fuel and biomeliorant. Galophytes play an eco-physiological role as a phytomeliorant crop in improving the meliorative state of saline soils. It is noted that when irrigation of the Atriplex nummularia plant with salt water it is possible to obtain a yield of 20-30 t/ha, the composition of which consists of 20-24% table salt.
